Royal Christmas Race at Oulu Äimärautio 1.-3.8.2025

The 2025 Kuninkuusravit will be held at Oulu's Äimäraution racecourse on 1-3 August. The event is Finland's largest horse festival, combining top sport, a celebration of Finnish horses and a varied programme of side events. The highlight of the competition is the Finnish Horse King and King's Cup, where the best stallions and mares compete in three different races over two days. The accompanying programme includes evening parties on Friday and Saturday, a programme for families and the opportunity to get to know the world of Finnish horses. Local delicacies and products will also be available in the event area.

Housing Fair in Oulu 18.7.-17.8.2025

Finland's largest housing event will arrive in Oulu 18.7.-17.8.2025, when the Housing Fair takes over the unique Hartaanselänranta estuary. The proximity of the sea, lush nature and Oulu's rhythm of life make the area attractive to both pioneers of housing and summer tourists. Oulu Festival Summer 2025

Oulu Summer 2025 is full of events that combine music, art and community in a unique way. In mid-July, the Suomipop Festival will fill Kuusisaari with top Finnish artists. At the same time, a short ferry ride away in Hailuoto's Marjaniemi, Bättre Folk combines music and literature in a unique maritime setting. At the end of July, Qstock, the largest music festival in Northern Finland, will offer a wide range of artists in Kuusisaari and Raati. In August, the Oulu Festival brings multi-artistic events to the city, such as Elojazz, Oulunsalo Soi chamber music festival and Night of the Arts. In addition, the Oulu Music Video Festival and the Air Guitar World Championships offer unique experiences.
